Hi all!! new to this forum but been recomended and hopefully someone can help me...

I own a Astra 1.3 cdti 2006 H model and has developed the dreaded code P0108 boost presure high.

Have cleaned the boost valve then ran ok for approx a week, now keeps going into limp mode. Have also cleaned the EGR valve and checked for leaks and also the actuator has been checked and all fine. Two local garages baffled and now when driving if it doesnt go into limp mode, it just "judders" between gear changes.

No one can locate the map/maf sensor unless this is also the boost presure valve that sits at the rear of th engine, left to the EGR valve?

Any help apprecaited and the location of the map sensor would be a good help also as have searched endless forums but to no avail.

Thanks guys.

Update part 2 :

Now it hits limp mode everytime i drive it.
Feel like smashing the thing up. Had a zafira for 5 years and never let me down  (still own) had this one 2 months and still cant fix the dam problem. Must be a common fault on here and someone knows the cure?
New map
Turbo and actuator checked and fine
EGR cleaned (didnt ned it but did it anyhow) and working fine
No boost pipes leaking

If is ECU is faulty its going to the auctions which is gutting as will loose even more money

Last plea for help...!!

Update :

Haved replaced the map sensor with new geuine vauxhall part. Seemed ok then started to do the usual "juddering" between gears or low gears and when taken over 3 thousand revs, engine light on/limp mode. Not all the time but you know its gonna sooner or later.

Gutted. 3 separate garages all said was map sensor.. EGR valve cleaned. Actuator checked and working fine. What else can it be?

One garage did say could be the ecu.

Help guys!!

Thanks. :(

Hi,
You say EGR cleaned, but was it stripped down and PROPERLY cleaned, the parts in the black plastic end need to be cleaned and greased, did they drill a hole in the end of the black plastic cover if not it was not cleaned properly.

Hi, does anyone have the part number for the map sensor? (1.3 cdti 2006 astra H model) and any links to anywhere cheaper than Vauxhall delaer who want ÂŁ88 Plus vat!

Dont mind paying this but after reading varous forums on here, seems like this is a 50/50 chance it may be/not be this :(

Thanks guys!

Seen this code before it actually means boost pressure/barometric pressure issue, in some cases it seems to be the baro sensor. I am trying to find my data sheet on its location and test procedures. The MAF sensor can be found in the inlet air trunking, just after the airfilter box, and the MAP sensor (if fitted) can be found on the inlet manifold, 3 wires go to it red/black orange and black I think.
