Os there a fuse box under the dash or behind the glove box?

 

Unfortunately the fuse box/rec is under the bonnet and one on the near side rear.

 

On the Zafira B there is a spare wire in the loom to the cigarette lighter socket that is live with the ignition.
If you remove the panel the socket is mounted in, you will find the spare wire, and you can piggyback the earth to the earth wire on the socket.

I was going to try and run it to the fuse box somehow behind the glove box. But might be easier your way.

 

I ran mine to the REC and piggybacked off a permanent live feed because my camera has an auto off function, but it also wakes up and records if it's 'G' sensor registers that the car has been hit.

 

Makes sense! was my thoughts after watching a few videos they all conveniently had a internal fuse box. Wasn't sure which fuse I was going to piggy back off for switched live but a multi meter would've helped there!

The REC is an internal fusebox, its in the boot. Just route the wire from the hardwire kit under the trim down the side of the car, I can't remember which fuse I piggybacked off, but I can check.
If you want to use the UEC under the bonnet, there is a rubber grommet behind the glovebox, you'll need to puncture it with a pointed screwdriver or something, then push the wire through.

You could use the second feed from the 12v accessory socket (cigarette lighter), but be aware, it will only be fused via the socket, not via it's own fuse as it would be using the piggyback from the REC.
