Hsfi 2.5 and 2.1 have the same hardware,only the software is different.You need to reflash the software with Tech2 and Global Tis, make sure its been reset then pair it to the car.

Or clone the Eeprom with Carprog and clone flash with MPPS.

 

Mine is hsfi-2.3 not 2.5, is it the same case?

 

I know 2.5 can replace a 2.1 but have never done a 2.1 to 2.3..if you have access to programming equipment then try it, you have nothing to lose. i would expect the hardware to be the same so only a software difference, can you not get the correct ecu.

 

Yes, I can't get the correct ECU with a 2.3 version as mine, only 2.1 is available! ... and you're correct it worth to try.
I will give it a try and report back.

I can't find this ECU in EBay or any other websites to purchase , so I am currently in Germany I would like to find another ECU(s) part numbers can be replaced for my Brazilian ECU "93302294" btw I installed cruise control and it was working fine

Is this the only part number or any ECU with HSFI 2.1 can work?
Also another question I need to make sure the ECU not damaged or repaired is EBay trusted or i should buy from high rated seller?

 

if your engine code is Z16SE will work abeit you might need to perform variant configuration with op-com depending what extras you have ac auto box esp abs etc, also having the pin will alow to be paired with existing immobilizer or you could get the chips and reader swapped and be plug and play...

about the ebay stuff... if you get it, ebay has a pretty good policy if you pay through paypal... i would not recommend getting it now and install on the car 1 month later... tho...
