Hi - Just bought a 2016 Bi-turbo Vivaro and 90% of the time the messages "check stop start" & "hill start assistance" flash up (and orange spanner light on). Every now and again tho it rights itself. Had mate put computer on it but at the time problem wasn t showing and nothing logged in memory. I personally think its a loose contact somewhere but no idea where to look. Any ideas? Thanks guys

From what I have read about stop/start systems, the battery has to be in perfect condition for the system to work.
If the original poster's battery is the original, there is a good chance the battery capacity is below the threshold for the stop start to operate (even though it might still be sufficient to start the engine from cold).
