Im after purchasing Op-Com so I can turn off the tyre pressure warning on my 2010 insignia. The person who had the car before me had all 4 tyres changed and since then the sensors have not worked. I don’t need this feature and have read this can be deactivated by Op-Com can anyone point me into the right direction on what to buy. Ebay is flooded with them and I don’t want to buy the wrong one

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure either.
If you know it can be done with OpCom PM me for details of a unit that will work.

When you say not worked , what exactly do you mean ?
TPMS sensors generally last around 5 years before requiring replacement , you can fit good quality aftermarket sensors.
As your car is a 2010 year model it's a good chance the sensors are in need of replacement.

It’s saying uneven pressure balance both front and rear. I’ve had the pressure check and they are all correct. Last night when I was driving home the front drivers one just completely died. On the dash where it will show you the pressure of each tyre. The front drivers one doesn’t show a reading at all now and the car now says service tyre sensors.

just pop in my local dealer and they won’t deactivate it but they have said that the car probably needs to relearn the sensors because all the tyres have been replaced and probably not put back on the same corner??

Does this sound right. They are gonna charge me £50 to relearn the system. Is there another way to do this ??

A few points
1/i have the latest opcom and don't see any way of using it to deactivate the TPMS
2/i've checked in GDS2 and there's no deactivation option there either
3/TPMS became compulsory in the UK from 1/1/2014 so a 2010 car won't be compulsory
4/if it's the GM system fitted it should be auto learn,no need for a dealer to do it,but if the system is all ok i would have expected it to have sorted itself quite quickly
I reckon it would be best to figure out what's fitted so if you post the reg i can check if the TPMS was fitted at the factory.

ok it left the factory with the UJN tpms option (auto learn)
This is the learn parameters, but i agree it's probably either the sensors or tpms module at fault

Auto Learn  RPO-Code „UJN“
The tyre pressure sensors are automatically learned to the vehicle after any wheel or wheel set change by the additional auto-learn module (ALM). To initiate the learn procedure, the vehicle has to be left standing still for 20 minutes with the ignition off (sensors go into sleep mode) and afterwards by performing a learn drive of approx. 10 minutes in a speed range between 25 to 60 mph.
On vehicles before model year 2014, it may take up to 20 minutes, until a fault is detected. If within 15 consecutive ignition cycles no successful learning process could be performed, the message "Winter Mode" will appear in the Driver Information Centre (DIC) and dashes (---) will be displayed instead of the pressure. If the winter mode is detected, TPMS is disabled
The nominal pressures (Light, Eco or Max) are stored in the body control module. According to the adjusted tyre pressures, the correct load condition has to be selected in the instrument.
Prior to any repair attempts, it´s absolute necessary to check, whether the issue
is a tyre pressure warning or a system fault.
 TPMS telltale is illuminated permanent after switching ignition on:
A tyre pressure warning is shown due to low pressure being detected on one or several tyres.
If vehicle is equipped with an instrument with DIC, a message dedicated to the faulty tyre(s) is shown. System works, as it should.
Check tyre pressures. If all tyre pressures are OK, check system settings.
 TPMS telltale is initially flashing for 90 seconds and then illuminated permanent after switching ignition on:
A system fault is present. If vehicle is equipped with an instrument with DIC, the message “check TPMS system“ is shown.
