Hello fellow VX/OP owners!
I got a challenge for a technical person!
When i connect my Tech2Win and i want to activate fog lights (Installed afterwards) i get an error that it cannot connect with the modules.

After i do a diagnostic test i get mandatory ECU is missing. How can that be happening, my car starts without problems and no use problems.

And yes i have an aftermarket cd player since FM radio got shutdown in norway...

I wondered if it might be,
i gave up with trying to get t2w to work on mine over 12 months ago,the problem is the unit trying to connect at the wrong bus speeds
(it trys to connect to everything at hs speeds)
drewtech had this problem with the mongoose and managed to sort it,but vxdiag never got to grips with it afaik
there were loads of posts about the issue on the forum they started, the aggro got so bad they scrapped the forum completely lol
tbh i haven't tried it lately but i'd make sure you're running all the latest f/w vx manager etc in case they've cracked it recently

I did update it before i did the scan just a few min ago. Updated to 4.0.0.0.

i can run diag but cant communicate with some of the modules.
1 thing tho. I had a loose wire on right front wheel that werent connected. Can that be the problem?
If we find no fix then im saving up to get to opel certed mechanic to fix the problem.
They said if the brain needed reprog it would cost 300$

I don't think it will run properly on European cars full stop,it won't be just your car that's the issue

it also used to fill up modules with 100's of spurious codes thank goodness i had opcom to clear them with

1/thread from the saab forum with the same issues
http://www.saabcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=d168e11300b404909b9b848ffb923f77&t=569522

2/and a utube vid from a Vectra C
then why is VXDiag tools being sold when they dont work as they are supposed to?
