Low oil level warning but oil is not low

Just an update. I topped up the oil level to just below the max value and I stopped getting the low oil level light.
The engine ticking is still there sometimes. I did take it to the garage and they said the ticking is normal, but it wasn't like this previously and isn't always there so doesn't sound normal to me. I've actually got two clips below recording this (inside car and near engine) so would appreciate any advise on it.

Just a couple of days ago, I began to see the low oil level light (amber) occasionally again. It comes on sometimes mid-journey and doesn't go off until I switch the engine off. It came on this morning (after a quick acceleration from 1st gear) and I switched the engine off at a traffic light, and when I started it again it was gone and didn't come back again. I have left the car overnight and checked if there were any oil leaks but I couldn't see any so unsure what the problem is. Am I burning a lot of oil? I don't want to keep on topping up the oil every 3 weeks to avoid this low level light. I also believe the low oil level light and the ticking noise are related but cannot confirm so.
I drive 22 miles to work (each way) so don't want to be causing further issues to the engine if it needs immediate attention!

I wouldnt take any risks drain the oil and replace if you really want to be thorough take the sump and clean oil should not be lumpy and probably the reason the light is coming on as it's become the wrong viscosity
