Hello. I have a pf6 (6spd) gearbox that im going to change oil in. I guess i fill it until it drips out from filler hole like this picture says? Do anyone know how many litres?
i have 3 litres but maybe i need some more?

Hello! Ok but why mesure the oil? I think pf6 ia just to fill until its dripping out from filler hole? I guess i will do that. Do u have pf6 box also?My Antara 6 speed manual requires 2.4 litres of oil according to my manual, the literature also states that 0.2 litres remains in the gearbox when the oil is drained so a refill of 2.2 litres is all that is required. however when I first replaced the oil in my gearbox 2.4 litres drained out so I usually put 2.4 litres in. Ok thanks but then your information is not relevant for me I think.I must confess I do not know which gearbox is in the antara but it is 6sp manual. The Antara gearbox does have a level plug, I understand however due to an issue with the oil foaming they reduced the gearbox oil capacity to 2.2 litres but didn't move the filler plug which makes filling the gearbox not straight forward. According to 7zap.com i have PF6 gearbox.. and thats mean i will fill until it drips outYour right, unless you have confirmation for the actual amount of oil required you must fill to the filler plug. Richy
Thanks. I guess i fill it to overflow and it should be around 2.6-2.7L ? I dont need to mesure anything? Am I right?
Yeah i will do that , thanks! Do u have any information about the size of sealing copper-ring on the drain plug? Filler seal i guess i can reuseCapacity on the pic shows 2.6ltrs +/- 0.15 ltrs,so fill to overflow and it should be about right
Thank you very much ! Looks like the same dimension like the engine oil drain plug gasket (16/22mm) and iv got plenty at home
