I'm fitting a 3.0 v6 into my vectra B, which has the F25 prefacelift gearbox. Will be fitting a 2.6l vectra clutch just for a bit more bite, but I need to replace the thrust bearing which is worn. I have a quote for a 2.6 clutch, plate + cover + thrust bearing, but not sure if the thrust bearing in this kit will fit the f25...
What gbox does the 2.6 GSI have (im guessing f23 still?) does this box use the same thrust bearing as the f25?
otherwise will have to go for 2.6 clutch plate + cover then buy a separate thrust bearing....
need to get it right, quoted £268 for the kit with the bearing included....!
