Can any one interperet diagnostics Astra H

I have an Astra H 1.6 SXi and this code keeps popping up with the following information, can anyone tell me what i need to do to repair the fault. A mate clears it for me. Thanks in anticipation

Id guess your EGR channels are blocked and the inlet manifold needs removing to clean them. Its very common on the Z16xep engines.

Thanks for the quick response, do i need gaskets at the ready and scrape it clean with a screwdriver?

Yes. Replace any gaskets you disturb and just scrap the crap away with a screwdriver until the channels are clean.

Its a few hours work. You need to remove the upper manifold. Then remove the lower manifold from the head. Once its off it just wants scrapping out and then refitting with new gaskets.
