hello everyone,
its my first time posting on here so bear with me please. ive got a 2015 zafira tourer 1.4turbo.
its been running sound as long as ive had it an my sister had it for 5 yrs before me an always been fine. it was running great untill xmas when it wasnt used over the festive period then i came to start it and nothing. the ignition comes on, press the clutch an turn the key an it doesnt turn over what does happen is the dash lights go off then come back on. ive had a guy that does diagnostic work for my mates garage put his equipment on it, to which he came back saying it seems like it was an ecu fault an either replace it or get it repaired so i dont know much about ecus so i asked an he said if you buy one you need to mahe sure its the same one then you can have it cloned. so now £250 down an its still doing exactly the same no matter which ecu is on it. ive checked clutch switch an thats reading ok an doing what its supposed to, so now im at a loss and have no idea what to try next.
has anyone had any issues like this or have any ideas what it could be or what i could try next.
