Hi guys,

My car doesn’t start. No cranking.
All the lights turn on the dash as normal, when you switch the ignition on you hear the relay click.
The car battery is relatively new - few months old

I bridged the ignition relay (yellow relay -R10) 30 and 87 the starter cranks but no start.
I checked the wiring to the ECU
pins 31, 32, 47 (all red wires) & 64 (black).
Pins 32 and 47 have under 1volt

I bypassed the wire from the fuse box with 12v to supply both wires from another fuse. But still no luck.

doesn’t crank.

Earth in the ecu is good and so are all the relays ( Black and Yellow)

any ideas/ suggestions or diagrams would be nice. I would appreciate it!!

Is the spanner light flashing when you turn the ignition on,... Do the pedal trick to see what fault codes you have stored, these will appear in the instrument display where your mileage is as a code beginning ECN ------ ,

See if you have power on 86 with ignition on when bridged to a good earth

Good that's supplied from the terminal 15 relay,it sounds as though the switched earth (85) to the starter relay may be the issue there, although that would only explain the no crank, not the no start
