So, I want to take out the trim panel on the tailgate. I thought I'd test my assumptions here before trying to remove it.

Looking at the panel there appear to be only three screws; One bottom centre covered by a plug; two in the emergency triangle cavity. Have I missed any?

I'm assuming that there are also some spring clips holding the panel on.

Are my assumptions correct and is it fairly easy to remove?

Thanks

Stephen

I removed mine to try to fix a rattle.
The panel is held in mainly by clips,i was careful but still broke a couple.
The rattle turned out to be coming from the rear light 'tapping' on the body.
Mine has rattles from seat belt height adjusters, dash, another from the rear, drivers creaky seat -i gave up in the end.(Also the roof lining bounces in the middle).
Perhaps its why the radio auto turns on when starting the car !!!.
I'm still considering buying a newer one,what bargains they are at around £10k for a 08 150 design/elite.
