How easy is it to replace the driver's side air vent on a 53 reg Zafira Design? The vent worked normally until today when I turned it off, the wheel went around a bit too far and now when you turn off the air flow the wheel has rotated too far and exposed an area of white plastic at the top. Tried holding the flap closed with a screwdriver and turning the wheel to try to make it jump back but no luck. I guess there is a cog drive between the wheel and the flap and it has jumped a couple of teeth!
Any help appreciated.

they should just clip in and out. i have removed mine before (zafira b) without problem. you should be able to fix it once its out. just have to watch you don't scratch or dent surrounds as you leaver it out.

Can't see how to clip it out, seems to be built in from behind the dash, is the Zafira a vent different to the b?

not sure, mine was held by a clasp type lock. just had to kinda wiggle it out was quite aggressive with it!
