My Cavalier GLS 16v is intermittantly flat until it reaches 4-4500rpm. Usually when its warm, but not all the time. About 80% of the time.

I have replaced AFM and changed the ANCIENT fuel filter but to no avail.

Any ideas?

I very occasionally get an EML and it wont rev, so i knock it off, back on, and it will be fine, but still flat.

Could it be EGR related?

EGR? Camshaft sensor.
Best to get the codes flashed out and go from there.

Im going to blank the EGR Valve off and see how that goes.

It will cut out when left idling for a long time too, but will re start no problem very bizzare......

X20XE with 115k, new oil, filter, fuel filter and plugs.
