I clipped my nearside wing mirror against a parked car (he shouldn’t have been parked there & I shouldn’t have been driving whilst so ill so 50/50) anyway he got away no real damage other than a scuff but the collision forced my mirror to fold in rapidly slamming into window which in turn made the mirror pop out. No major harm was done wing mirror body folded back out and the mirror itself has a small crack in it. So I popped the mirror back in just using what looked like common sense but now the manual adjustment arm for the mirror isn’t fully functional, it moves in some directions but not others, I can only get it mirror into a useable position by actually pushing the mirror itself.

Is it possibly the adjustment arm was broken by the impact or did I do something wrong when putting the mirror back in?

My car is an astra mk4 2000, any help appreciated, thanks
