Hi,

I'm new to this forum and have recently bought a Vauxhall Astra 1.3 on eBay Motors, and am looking to add a diesel chip to add enhance the performance of the motor.

I've found a chip whilst on Google, and think it should do what I want...

It's definitely affordable, considering the saving it could make just from tuning my diesel car for added performance.

What would you guys say?

most do not work as all they do is fool the engine into thinking its cooler have not found anything that works without remapping the unit .

I have a box here did not make any difference

best thing to improve performance is bigger inter cooler and more air

the only thing that works is a remap and a company that knows is hi tech diesels bury lancashire

The one iv got for my 1.7 cdti is Diesel Power +, for £300 its amazing! 30 day money back, you will want to keep it its amazing! Sorry iv spent hundreds on chips for other cars before and what a waste of money they were! I highly recomend this chip!

oh...i didnt read it was a 1.3.... hmmm

there is very little you can do with a 1.3 apart from what fronteraorg says, you just got to get the air in out of engine to flow a little better, has in bigger exhaust better air filter, de cat would make the biggest difference, just remember to put it back on for MOT. but dont expect a massive difference after all its only a 1.3.
