When looking online for a new inlet manifold there are 2 different part numbers for it, depending on which I've already got on the car...where can I find the part number or how do I find out which one before taking it off?

Or failing that has anyone got a new Z19DTH inlet manifold with blanking plugs fitted for sale?
Cheers

Oooh it's a long time since this one came up,essentially there are 2 engine plants for the Z19DTH engines ,Kaiserlautern and Pratola Serra and some of the parts are different, you should be able to work out where the engine was manufactured from the engine number but of course this only holds good if it's the original engine still fitted.
As far as new induction manifolds go they have now been superseded to the same part number (55210201) so it should fit either,
if you want to post the reg i can dig into it some more for you.

The engine number is Z19DTH 17294943,the 17 denotes it as a Kaiserlautern built engine ,so the original p/n was 55206459 which is now superceded to 55210201

Thank you. Is that the later model then?
Also I don't suppose you know what the part number is for the gasket that sits between the inlet manifold and the throttle body is?
Cheers

tbh i'm not sure if it's later or not, just built in Germany rather than Italy, the p/n you need is 55205453

I know it's been solved this time but for future readers,

You can fit either inlet manifold to the Z19DTH. The only real difference is the size of the holes for the swirl flaps. The port sizes are the same so if your blanking them off there's no difference at all. You can even use the bigger blanking plugs in the smaller version by boring them out to the bigger size
