had a spot of debaging, de rub stripping and de "go faster" striping!!! left with the sticky residue, whats best for removing it without damaging the paint?

Sticky Stuff Remover mate, usually available from those good friends of ours Kleeneazy(sp):lmao: Or your local Avon lady:Cool2: There are other methods though, which im sure will be mentioned.

tar and glue remover and a little heat. petrol as said works just as well. white spirit dries to quickly i found

managed to find some wd40, tar and bug remover and think i got somepetrol, so got a few options! Will give em a go and will hope fully have some pics or a debaged and stripped cav!!!

Autoglym tar remover jobbiness...

Tried white spirit, heat etc. etc... got the gloopy crap off, but damaged the clearcoat too.

managed to find some wd40, tar and bug remover and think i got somepetrol, so got a few options! Will give em a go and will hope fully have some pics or a debaged and stripped cav!!!
You will probably have to polish afterwards as the exposed paint can go off colour.
