Took the wife over to leicester & all was reasonably quiet , only took 10 minutes.
The General is just on the far side of leicester , so you need at least 40 minutes to get there.
Made myself a chicken madras tonight , cut one piece chicken breast into chunks then put in a oven dish , cover liberally in Lloyd Grossman's Madras sauce & cook in oven for 40 minutes @ 180c.
Mr bens pilau rice & sharwoods popadoms swilled down by a large bottle of San Miguel beer.
Very nice but as hot as i go 😁

Went to my Doctors appointment cant go in the Doctors unless your wearing a face mask, had my dressings done then came home, got replies from a few Marketplace enquirers, bloke in Wingate had a load of lawnmower spares and 3 lawnmowers and 2 decks for sale he said make me an offer so I'd said I I don't want to insult you I'll give you £50 his reply was £60 and there yours, neighbour was going to go and collect them but he disappeared to his boat, then I decided there was no room in the garden so I declined the offer, then got another reply from another seller who was selling so 200mm frame fixings, 96 screws and plugs 200mm (8") need them for a future project they were originally selling for £10 but they now wanted £5, so traveled to collect them Saltburn or should I say Lingdale

Stripped the FREE lawnmower down, there was very little oil in it and there is a crack in the side of the engine (see photo below), the Con rod has smashed off were it is bolted around the crank (Photo below)

That looks broken:ROFLMAO:
A66.. £25
Near the MOT place? The garage that only does MOT's, not repairs.

A66 tyres, yeah the one opposite the garage, didnt know they just done MOT now, the tyre place used to be right next door to the garage, was about 5 years ago they built a massive green metal building for the tyre bay and the rental place.

There's a garage that does do mot repairs two doors down from the mot place or so my father in law informed me:ROFLMAO:He also uses A66 for tyres and mots. I tend to use MnM's or Cuts, although Cuts would be too far out for you. I've never had any issues from either garage and MnM the garage not the tyre place are diesel specialists and do a lot of servicing on taxi's. I've also used that garage/tyre place near little Asda in Berwick hills, but service was a bit hit and miss with them, they're a little more costly too. Very slow when it comes to tyres.

Well this has been more last day or two, rather than just today....

The BMW boot saga finally came to fruition... I sorted out a guy to get into it. End result is - as I have replaced it anyway, and have neither time, space nor will to get its oil pressure sorted it is now on fleabay as a non-runner.

Audi has been off road for a week with a thrown/shredded auxiliary belt - awaiting the right parts to get that put back on road. Friday hopefully for that...

Meanwhile as I have missed so much work due to being off road... and the teen monster starts to drive in December, have picked up nice Mini for her which I will occasionally use as my spare/runaround til then...

Have to say I like the little thing..... the inside is a bit retro and slightly too like something out of a Dr Suess cartoon but its nippy and handles well (from what could see on test drive) - due off to collect it properly this afternoon. Rather reminds me of the couple of years I had in a Ford Puma, not the biggest, or the fastest but still makes you grin a little...
Will no doubt find a Mini forum to post sporadically and stir up shi*t in...

Making good progress.
Going to put the chainsaw head on the strimmer and take out some fallen branches and a large buddlia tree.

Too wet to put through the shredder so just chopping it with the strimmer blade at the moment.

Took sister to Asda South Bank, Diesel has gone up in price now its now £1.09 a Litre and Petrol £1.06 cheaper than Morrisons so I got my Diesel there while waiting for my sister, when she came out she said its a absolute disgrace empty shelves, we got there around 12 nobody queuing so she just walked in, not long after the queue started to form.

Personally I think this Coronavirus has been a god send for some companys retail or not, they now have a legitimate excuse to lay people off without being made to look bad, stores to have empty shelves and claim its hard getting hold of stock its the pandemic, strange how Lidl and Aldi can keep a good 90% of their shelves stocked.

And the latest Wigan Athletic Football club have gone in to Administration blaming the Coronavirus.

Petrol is strangely close to the price of diesel, but for how long? Maybe due to the fact people are not buying as much diesel now.
