can you get a fault code when it cuts out ?? if its taking a long time to start are you getting a good immediate pressure build up in the rail ? a slow pressure build is either passing relief valve, leaky injector or fuel starvation.

 

Been to garage come up fuel pressure sensor that's been changed also hp fuel pump injectors also have been changed it takes a while to start but when it starts it runs nice sometimes cuts out with red stop light but will fire straight away an off you go again now if I leave it sat there ticking over and turn it off and then back on straight away it will fire up straight away with no struggle but say if it was running and I turned off and went in the shop and come back to it it will take long to start

 

have you checked the relief valve and the crank sensor ?? these seem to be the popular suspects for poor starting, but dont affect running.

 

hi i had a very similar problem with mine it turned out to be a very dirty connection in the blue multi plug in the fuse box under the header tank ,took my time cleaned the connections up job done hasnt played up in 12k miles ,,mine would start tick over as it should and as yours mine would just cut out could have been 5 miles down the road or 20 miles had mine pluged in came back as throttle track 2 ,replaced air flow meter ,and throttle pedel didnt fix it till i cleaned up blue plug hope it helps

 

I will try the blue plug and also where is the relief valve and how do you check it I've replaced all the sensors thanks

I had similar prob took to a local independent renault garage and they knew straight away what it was, a connector or wire was being moved sometimes now and then by a water hose on the lower part of the engine

 

I’ve got similar problem cuts out while driving over 2000 revs anything under 2000 revs it runs perfect

 

That would be the crank sensor yes the water pipes do rub on it I will try and fix the pipes back and give it a try thankyou

 

I am having problem driving my vauxhall vivaro ,it starts goes around block cuts out then wont start, leave it for a while then it starts again but i get same problem after while driving. I have resently done a service changing oil and all filters having purchased the vehicle a month ago. can any one enlighten me
