Hi

Just wondered if anyone had any idea why my clutch pedal on 53 plate 1.9 DI vivaro just lies about 1inch off floor and iam unable to change gear after doing motorway driving for about 1hour.

Once engine has been switched off for about 1 hour pedal lifts and clutch becomes usable again.

I have noticed that there seems to be a cylinder connected to top of pedal which has cylinder pipe connected which then goes to small disc shaped device.

Are there two cylinders if so which one is it most likley to be

thanks

Andy

Hi it sounds like a leaking slave but i think these are inside the bell housing on yours so not easy to see i would try as already posted and bleed it up have a good look around the master cylinder and in the engine bay for brake fluid leaks and these can destroy the paint and leave you open for rust invasion
regards
