Vivaro 1.9D clutch won't Bleed

can anyone help, I have a 2005 , 1.9D vivaro, the clutch pedal went straight to the floor a few days ago, and stayed there, i replaced the master cylinder,after checking the return spring on the pedal , etc, no joy,

Then i set about removing the gearbox to replace the concentric slave cylinder/ release bearing, obviously replaced the clutch plate etc also, on refitting , i cannot get the clutch to bleed properly, still the pedal is on the floor ,

i ahve tried, the various methods posted around the internet, none appear to work,

I am today going to take the box back out, i am s little unhappy about the connector to the slave cylinder inside the bellhousing, and poss the connection int the bleed nipple, clutching at straws really now,

can anyone help, ? Am i doing anything wrong ????

Hi

I Have used the gravity method, just let free flow, not worked
Pumping the pedal, whilst tighten and un tighten, not worked,
back flow, pushing from the bleed valve back through using oil can, not worked
disconnecting the elbow into the contentric slave cylinder, and using ny eazybleed unit, not worked ??

Hi Finally I managed it !!!!!

i found the thread on another forum somewhere ? what i basically did was disconnect the windscreen washer pump, submerge it a tub with fresh brake fluid in it, run a pipe to the bleed nipple , take the cap off the brake/clutch fluid reservoir, held an old ice cream tub under it to collect the spillage. then pump the fluid back through the system, 5 minute later, a fully functional clutch pedal, worked first time, thanks to the guys responsible for it, worked brill,

If you want to reverse bleed attach a pipe with 1 way valve from the brake nipple on front nearside caliper to the slave cylinder nipple. Leave both nipple open and pump the pedal. If you don't have a valve you need a second person to open/close one if the nipples and bleed in convensional manner.
