I have a Vectra ZC April 2003 build. It has done 25600km. The problem is that the interior trim - in particular the rubber type coating on the door handles, the button on the roof mounted sunglasses holder and on the steering wheel around the audio control buttons is deteriorating and coming off. It is occuring where there is hand to trim contact. It is starting to look bloody awful. I have spoken to a GM dealer here and their typical comment is that they have'nt seen it happen before but are willing to look at it. That was 3 months ago, and I still can't get GM Warranty to get their act together (they appear to be trying to stall me).
The problem with the trim is that it isn't very durable. I have maintained the car very well and I don't use solvents or abrasive substances to clean the car. This is the first time I have had this sort of issue with such a new vehicle. Has anyone else had issues with interior trim on the ZC Vectra?
