Hi Carlos, where did you have the cam belt done? Was it an engine out jobbie? I have no idea when the cam belt was last done on mine and I know its not a straight forward thing...was thinking of getting the clutch, flywheel and thrust bearing done at the same time but still probably looking at a few hundred minimum...cheaper the better!Other than the usual bits that you'd check on other cars...
Check for knocking from the rear - the bushes are prone to conking out and knocking like a good 'un. The big bush (ooer) is only about £15-£20 to replace - but is an absolute cow to fit.
Also - the front doors appear to have some problem with the window falling off the winder runner. Having said that I haven't [touch wood] had a problem with mine.
Make sure the cam belt has been done at the correct interval - it's a costly job - Vx wanted £500 to do mine, but I got it done at a specialist for £200 incl parts. There is an ex MSD (the company converted the SRi to the GSi) mechanic called Dave Jordan that comes highly recommended and does work on the V6's.
