Decided to change the fuel filter on my Vectra. The plastic union came undone ok [wheel side/ flow out] but despite my best efforts with WD40 etc the inards of the other Flow in connector came away and a small black ring corroded on to the filter. This black ring will not fit back. Snap connector ****ed. Inside the car underneath the plastic inspection cover does the pipe nearest the passenger door come from the tank to the in flow side of the petrol filter? Pipes are Blue held on with metal fastenersand VX garage say have to take old one out to get number. Cannot get to it more till weekend.

Purchased new pipe from Vauxhall £13-00 dropped tank refitted Bob's your uncle problem solved. Inside under inspection plate pipe nearest passenger door feeds to inflow side of filter.
