Just checking for some info....

I have the Haynes for the Vectra (B) - but as most will know it does not include the V6 range.... am looking at having a crack at replacing the rear discs and so was wondering...

- is this really as straight-forwards as it seems ?? :think

- any difference between the Vec's covered by Haynes manaual and the V6 'back there'... or is it basically going to be the same as in the manual.

any other hints, tips, pointers, annecdotes (relavent ones)... then they would be most welcome.

It's exactly the same procedure, although the pads themselves may be different.

It's one of the easier jobs on the V6!

Good luck.

sounds good to me then..... may give it a go in the near future... :Cool2:

seems do-able even for one such as myself and my relatively limited mechanical know how.

the front and rear discs and pads are the same between the 2.0 and v6 petrol models and all 99 on models, there are a few models that are different like the early supertouring models
