Vauxhall Vivaro Cranks but will not start after clutch change

Hi all,
Im really at a loss with my van now (2011 Vauxhall Vivaro 2.0L Manual) - took it in to get a full clutch job after the secondary cylinder failed. That was a simple enough job, but after it was all put back together the engine will not start. It turns over fine, but never fires into action - there is fuel at the top of the injectors as the system has been primed but none is being sprayed out (I think) as there is no smoke, smell or any indication its even burning a little bit of fuel. The computer says Cam Shaft Position Sensor Faulty, so we've changed that but still no joy. Sometimes, it veryyyy nearly starts, but has never run off its own power - only the starter. Not sure where to even start, garage has given up so ive just got it back on my drive now but thinking it must be something simple as I drove it to the garage for the initial job and never had a problem with it before! Happy to answer any questions if there's anything else you guys need to help me. Thanks in advance!

Popped into my local garage awhile ago , and his NEW mechanic did exactly the same thing on a vivaro.
Clutch was swapped out , all back together and wouldn't start.
ALL to do again. I said to mechanic I thought you would have known that, he said he did , but the other mechanic did the job.
I thought he would have mentioned it to the new guy.

battery is completely flat, its charging up now but only on a slow charger so will probs take a while - im going to try cranking it and see if the RPM gauge moves - if it doesn't then that tells me either the crankshaft sensor or the wiring to it is causing the problem (or maybe a control fuse somewhere?), as I believe the RPM gauge is directly tied to the crankshaft reading. Sorry for slow replied just had a hectic few days, very much appreciate everybody's input and will be sure to update when I find out any more.

morning guys - so i’ve noticed that the rpm gauge doesn’t move when cranking, however even more interesting is that the immobiliser light is never on, cranking, ignition, keys out, whatever, i never have a red flashing light (or solid one) on the dash - surely this indicates a fault with that system which will stop the engine from starting?

I am still watching with notifications so they are working , but I am not able to help technically with your issues .
It might be an idea to post your problems again .
Noticed you said it will not start on ( easy start ) so suggests that could rule out fuel .
Not sure if you could attempt or should attempt a tow start , but if you have ruled out fuel with easy start you will have to double check the timing as first point of rule .

Put it on YouTube, most people won't click links that can't be trusted. Besides that your link doesn't work anyway.
