hi, might sound silly but does anyone know what the letters actually stand for on vauxhalls such as:
I always thought SRi was Sports Refined Interior ?
not sure where it came from though.
the 'i' stands for injection as there used to be SR versions of Cav mk2 and Astra mk2 that had carbs, just like the escort XR3 became XR3i due to ford fitting fuel injectionSome of these initials are just some advertising persons idea of what sounds good.
A bit like "go-faster stripes" increasing the acceleration. :bananasmi
im not, ive an expression which in a way is an Ls with fancy badges :lmao:dont be too hard on them... a cav LS is a damn site more luxurious than a fiat panda.. or even the most basic spec of daewoos and so on.
an LS is a nice comfy car with nice large seats and a good feel to it... so.. not too bad hehe.
i always thought LS stood for "limited spec" though
