My frontera 1994 2.4i seems to of decided to give a rather baffling clutch problem. About 2 months ago I climbed in the car and the clutch pedal had gone to the floor. What was suprising was the clutch worked ok. After 6 weeks the problem got even worse, when getting in the car and strarting from cold there was no clutch. After driving a few miles the clutch was back again.Last week sent the old motor for an mot, they changed the clutch slave handed me the car back with no clutch, pedal down to the floor. After driving away after a few miles the clutch is back again and smooth change. Please can anyone help, there are none of the usual clutch symtons, i.e smell, judder poor set off and loss of power, as I can still tow 2 tons, but every morning a bad clutch which improves with use, thankyou
