I have a 1994 Cav V6 CDX and at the back of the glovebox is a large hole which I am sure isn't supposed to be there and next to it is a switch which doesn't appear to do anything, and next to that switch is another round hole. I was wondering if this is meant to be some kind of light unit or something? If anyone knows what this might be for I would very much like to know so I can look out for the right bits at the scrappy etc.

The hole is for an air conditioning pipe.

the slide switch is whether you want it open or closed I think./

As Goonas said. It's a cold air feed so you can keep drinks/food cool in the glove box.

Well.. you live and learn. i knew it was AC but never knew what it was for. I thought it was something to do with the recycling air.
