I appologise if im duplicating a post.
i have taken my car to the garage and they said that it came up with the following error code on the diagnostics :-
U2139 Lost communications with Body Control (CIM) System
i had a few problems couple of months ago with it taking ages to start up so i figured the battery was goosed. I bought a new battery and replaced it and all seemed fine. then last week i was going to pick up wife at the airport and the car didnt seem to have much power. i was driving on the motorway at 30 mph as that was the most i could get out of it. after googling i have found this is called limp mode. After getting the above code from the garage i am still none the wiser as what i need to do. can anyone help please

I don't think that code will cause limp-mode.
Did you have any warning light on the dash - you should have had one for the limp mode you obviously have/had. But, a genuine CIM fault might have stopped that warning.
What code reader did the garage use - a generic one or Vauxhall specific one?
It's also important that once codes have been read and written down that they're cleared and re-read to see if the 'fault' was historical or is still present.
