I'm about to buy some tyres for my new wheels. Wondered if anyone had got a similar set up to me and what size tyres you were running. Have you had any clearance problems?
My car is lowered 35mm all round and the wheels are 7 x 17 with 41mm offset.
Cheers in advance, Rich.

You wont have any rubbing problems with 205/40's at all...they are just abit small for the Cav thats all.

For example, say you have 195/60-15's as standard, and you swapped to 205/40-17, you are then dropping over 3% on size, over 19mm diameter and over 60mm circumference...and at an indicated 70mph, you will actually be doing 3mph less.
