TPMS replacement - Astra J

Hi all, I'm hoping for some advice and confirmation before I tackle this:

I have an Astra J (2015) with a leaking valve (core is corroded and stuck).
I've not yet removed the tyre to work out exactly what type of sensor it is, but our local dealer says they are all on backorder and basically unavailable.
The sensors are the "manual" type that have to have the position learnt using the EL-50448 tool.

Reading online it seems like there are a couple of types of sensor and it might be possible to replace just the stem, but if unlucky the sensor itself will have to be replaced.

Based on the worse case scenario of replacing the entire sensor, what will I need to do to recode them?

I've seen some conflicting suggestions it is just a case of using the EL-50448 tool to active them, and others that say the ID numbers need to be programmed into the ECU, or the existing one cloned to the sensor (if it supports it).

I think the part number I need will be 13598775 for the complete sensor, or possibly 13507403 for the valve stem part (assuming it can be taken apart).

If it needs to be recoded, can this be done with opcom?

Thanks.

Yep LSC are good and local to me,
there's so much rubbish info around about tpms, with a few different systems and copy parts on the market i suppose it's not surprising.
