Top of engine sounds rattly (Cam area) when idling but goes away once revved

Another thing is when its idling, if you look at the cylinder head upwards it looks like its vibrating and thats when it leaks the oil i said about in a post a while ago, yet all the head bolts are tight and it remains steady when given a little throttle

Whats the diagnosis then :lmao:

see how worn the tappets are, being hydraulic they adjust themselves anyway but if they are worn badly they will tap.

grind your valves in too, always nice!!

Only problem is i dont have one of them valve compressor things handy

a valve grinding kit, (with paste) is cheap as chips in the words of Mr Dickinson. available from halfrauds, etc etc.
