The last time the timing belt was done on my 98 Omega 2.0 16v was 35k ago so I'm going to be on the safe side and get it done seeing as I didn't get a service history with the car. Could someone tell me what else should be done. Don't know too much about getting the different belts renewed but from previous posts it sounds like I should get the full cambelt kit. Is this what I should be asking for?

Also could someone give me a ballpark figure for the total cost from an independent garage.

Thanks

for an independant to supply and fot the kit will cost around the £200 mark. Get the water pump done at the same time, for the sake of £25 its worth it as anyone will vouch.
