My Zafira has a rattle/squeak coming from the tailgate. I suspect that it is moving slightly on the pins that hold the tailgate to the body.

Any suggestions as to how I might adjust the tailgate to 'take up the slack' on these pins?

I assume your Elite is pretty new so I would take it to the dealer and get them to sort it under warranty

Hi mate mine was doing this.

I had to get to new struts for mine and they where putting pressure on the boot making it rattle as i drove.

There are 2 black rubber ajusters on tailgate itself twist them anti-clockwise so they come out a few mm and that should sort your problem.
