I'm replacing the glow plugs in our insignia. The first 3 came out without any problems. The last one was really hard to remove. I had to use extra leverage. It's now loose but won't pull out. It also won't screw back in.
Anyone know why and what to do.

Firstly, your thread title should say glow plug snapped, not stuck. Decondly, that could either be a head off job or specialist extraction job

Firstly, I don't know if it's snapped so glow plug stuck is good enough for me.
Decondly as you so poetically put it, thanks👍🤪
I hope you get it sorted and that it's not too costly

you can buy specialist tools for snapped glow plug removal. Not overly costly. Just google snapped glow plug removal. Apart from the removal tool all you really need is a decent battery drill, and some basic tools. After that, its how confident do you feel to doing it. Could save you a small fortune or could be a disaster dependent on your mechanic skills.
