I am confused!

When I put my foot on the brakes, it squeaks slightly but then stops when I fully press it. The brakes never squeak when I start the car and drive, it's only if I've been driving for about 20min the squeak happen.

Is it normal for this to happen with brakes when the car heats up?

Thank you in advance.

i have a little squeak in mine, i dont worry about mine because its very faint, depends on how loud the squeak is. If i brake hard it goes, or if i get a car wash that does the wheels it will stop for a while.

My van sounds like a BL**??*!!DY london taxi at the moment. Your squeaking could be brake dust in the rear drums, get some one to whip em off for you and give them a good blow with an air gun. If its the front, then it could be dirt/oil on the pads/discs. Or they could be just worn. Hope this helps
