Evening all,

I'm hopefully shortly going to become the proud new owner of a 55 plate Vectra 1.9 CDTi [150] Elite. I'm buying this as a sensible daily driver as I already have my 'modifying toy' as described in my signature. BUT if there's anything that could be done to it without affecting my warranty I'd be interested to know what you would recommend. Is there an untraceable remap thats worth doing? (by that I mean the only way to tell is to rolling road/road test it)

Oh well a couple of problems reported but all should be ok as long as it's under warranty then I'm just about technical enough to keep an eye on it once it's expired now that I know what to look for. I'm hopefully getting a good deal from vauxhall themselves with a NetworkQ warranty so that'll keep me going for 12 months.

you can get a tuning box,these are plug and play and leave no evidence that it was there after removal

That's what I was hoping for. What sort of gains can you expect on the 150bhp 1.9CDTi engine without any other mods?

With a genuine tuning box upto about 190 bhp or there abouts.
