The Tory election campaign has been rocked again with images of another child suffering under the cash-strapped NHS.
Following the outrage of a sick four-year-old boy forced to lie on a hospital floor because of a lack of beds - an image Boris Johnson couldn't bring himself to see - it's been revealed that a nine-month-old baby had to wait six hours for a bed.
Jack Williment-Barr's mother, Sarah Williment, covered him with coats to keep warm as he waited for a bed at Leeds General Infirmary to be treated for pneumonia.

GMB host and former Mirror editor Piers Morgan wondered if the image would derail Johnson's election campaign.

Now Louise Webb, 23, has contacted The Mirror after her baby, Lily, was forced to wait six hours for a bed.
Louise had taken Lily to the Countess of Chester Hospital near their Ellesmere Port home, after she deteriorated following weeks of illness.

"To sit in a hospital and see at first hand the situation, it really opens your eyes," she told the Mirror.
Dr Susan Gilby, chief executive at the hospital, said: "We apologise to anyone who has to wait longer than four hours. We would be very grateful to receive their feedback."

I remember putting my hand in an electric mangle 40 years ago at the age of 7 and lying on a hospital floor in agony waiting my turn. Also remember comforting my son in A&e when he had chicken pox on his brain at the age of 5 , waiting our turn .and waiting in A&e for four hours after my daughter jumped off a worktop at the age of 4 and faceplanted the kitchen floor. never crossed my mind to take a photo for political reasons . Is there something wrong with me?

This was reported earlier as being a fake story, made up by a Labour party member in an attempt to derail the tories election campaign.

And such is another issue with social media and the rush to get to the news in this media cycle during the election

It now doesn’t matter what the truth is. Everyone will say it was either true, or if they don’t agree with it, they’ll say it was made up to make them look bad. And in this case the ‘it’s fake!’ Is the fake news. It was already apologised for by the hospital trust involved

I wonder if this was the same Activist that punched on of the Tories representatives outside the Leeds hospital after protesting, the protester was arrested, the Police got the CCTV from the hospital and asked the Tory to show were he was punched and the CCTV showed the Tory bumped in to the Activist so another lie to add to a very very long list by the Tories.

Real or fake the NHS is actually in crisis. At the sharp end...A and E it's a mess during busy times due to understaffing.
Personally i was there at my local unit with my mum who'd fallen in the early hours a few nights ago.
The total was 3 hours (to be assessed within 10 mins) to be x rayed and fitted with a 'moon boot' for a fractured ankle.
During that time the staff dealt with in excess of a dozen drunks with head injuries, several of those in police custody, groups of pissed students, junkies, miscellaneous "don't feel wells" and the amp'ed up lad with the grey tracksuit tucked into his socks trying to conceal his tag that sat next to everybody who had a phone...was kinda funny to see his attempts to side-eye up mine...watch it to my pocket and then shimmy and knock into me as he fidgetted. Dopey f'wit...
Anyway...the staff did their best whilst battling the dregs of society who were too pissed or coked up to function. So what should have been a hour, tripled...
Is this the fault of any particular party? Money / funding is finite...and nobody can face the truth that the politicians don't REALLY care. The NHS is a political football to kick around a flag to wave to collect followers. They all have private health care...whether leftly liberals or right wing fascist they will not be joining the treatment queue like the plebs they muster to arms.
The NHS is bloody amazing. It's a little broken with some shitty staff here and there but having been saved twice by it and seen the dedicated teams on high dep wards on action...with almost no expense spared I don't get too sucked in with social media photos by people in it for the glory and the story - ya virtue signalling and attention seeking baw-bags!

No nurse or doctor would allow a child or any other patient to lay on a hospital floor , at the very least the patient would have been on a trolley.
This photo shoot has really upset the hospital staff has it has made them look like they don’t care.
Apparently she’s got some connection to that strange momentum group , the mother staged the whole thing according to some comments.
The Daily Mirror has got form for putting fake photos on its front pages , it cost Piers Morgan his job.
Things didn’t go well for labour yesterday after the shadow health secretary was caught slagging off his leader.
Jeremy said their still big mates , yeah right.

I do think this story of the child lying on the floor in A&E is a bit pathetic.

You've got the Labour party to thank for the creation of the NHS where you can just walk in and get treated.
People slag off the NHS, as the saying goes "you don't know what you've got until it's gone".

Voting for the Tory party is the start of it being privatised and turned into an insurance based system like America. Over there they would let you die outside if you don't have insurance or a credit card.

Obama Care, remember that one?
Again do a Google
Your talking Shite !
Obamacare is still flawed though and still has its limits as to what it provides, because it still relies on the insurance companies paying for the service
