RR day economy run

I have refuelled the V6 after the superb RR day, which as it happens also turned out to be one of my best economy runs this year!! 30.7mpg!!
so I might have been the lowest powered V6 but possibly it was the most economical for the 'day out'

My Cav ran 29.5mpg from Bristol to Northampton, a bit of running around and back to Bristol....Pretty good for a Turbo.

I did 275 miles on around £35 worth of Optimax, including going for blasts and being on the rollers.

75mph on the motorways, 3K RPM in 6th

Definitely!! :)

The Vectra V6 can only get figures like this if I really really nurse it nice and gently on a long run.

trip comp said it was averaging 24mpg. Though when I booted it at points the instant consumption was briefly at 8mpg.

Yes but you forgot to factor in the cost of a new set of CAMS :lmao:

I got 29.8mpg average
distance 240 miles
I filled my tank before I left Retford then I put in £15 in northampton so I guess £30 or thereabouts but I did hit 120 several times on the motorway as I was trying to find my missing 20 BHP !!!!
