Morning folks.

Recently iv found that on my 1.8 petrol insignia, that on cold start the rev needle only slightly bobs up and down. (I don't know if its me imagining it but the engine sounds a lil rougher aswell at this point). What could be causing this?

After she's at temperature or just reading on the gauge she purs like a kitten again. Cheers for any advice!

A little movement up and of down of the RPM neadle after a cold start is normal. It also runs a little more rougher since the engine is still cold.

It should settle after a minute or two.

Depends how rough you mean :).
