Hi
I would like to replace my remote control in the key since it does not work anymore.
One of the button is brooken.
Is it possible to replace the button circuits in the chip or I need to replace the whole remote control.
Is reprogramming necessary when the remote control is replaced or is
the synocronizing that is done when I turn on the ignition enough.

Thanks in advance

You'd need to replace the whole remote, unless you were good with electronics and could solder new buttons to the old board.

Programming needed with diag equipment (tech2/Opcom) for new remotes, and you'd need the security code for the car too if it has factory fit anti theft.

Not at all, many decent scan tools give lots of independent garages the ability to code them, and certainly the affordability of the Opcom tool gives you all you'd need to program them yourself should you feel competent enough to do so.
