In several threads on here before I've heard about people saying it helps level the car out when you take out the rubber bits (can't remember their name) that the rear springs sit on.

Having just put my old -40mm lowering springs back on I thought I'd try this and it has levelled it out, but is there a down side to it? has anyone had any problems when doing it?

Just wanted to ask the question as I'm a touch paranoid about it at the moment :think

suppose the springs will rub through the paint on the chassis & eventually set rust in , chances are you will have sold it by then anyway.

Yeah I'm not too bothered about that, if that's the worst that should happen.

Just need reassuring
