my power steering is very hard when the car is stationery, when you move the car its ok, and say if the cars still in neutral and you give the car some gas and turn the steering its ok, if you dont give it gas and turn it is very very difficult! ive got an vectra b!

What Vectra have you got? Vectra-B or Vectra-C?

The Vectra-C reservoir is tucked away behind the front bumper below the offside headlight.

The Vectra-B reservoir should be easily recognisable as soon as you lift the bonnet. Somewhere between the battery and engine, IIRC.

have you noticed if the fluid level is droppin?
is it still the same when your engine is warm?

sounds like a dying pump , what engine is in the car ??
