got fed up with the plastic crap u get and found none to fit my phone so decided to fall back on the day release college engineering course and make my own. so take one centre vent with broken grills(got spare off ebay) and get out the tools, was raining so gave me time to play in the shed.

i never seemed to use the centre vent and now it has a purpose.:Cool2:

pics look bit scrappy but ive now removed some sealant on the front bit.

tbh doesnt look good but im sure its practical...

any pics with the phone fitted?

EDIT:
cane see more pics now....does look good with the phone in place :up:

sorry iwas editing. only did it as was bored and the vents had snapped.

is a good idea, i dont like those stupid stick on holders, esp as most cars dont acutally have anywhere to stick them (well mine doesnt)

Before i had my bluetooth set up, i used a window suction mount phone holder, it was a magnet base, and you stuck a small metal plate to the back of your phone. The mount consisted of a fexi neck about 6 inches long, was ideal when using the phones handsfree, and external speaker option.

Dang. That's a good idea Stu. But I keep my clipon shades there. :rolleyes:
Also I was thinking about installing my Snooper there. Doh!

i dont like those types,

i cant stnad anything rattleing in the car, its what puts me off phone holders,

would get a parrott bluetooth kit but dont use the phone enough :shame:

I know exactly what you mean about rattles....


However I had no problem with this type, it was 1 solid piece so no movement, foam padded at the sides
