Any cavalier hatchback owners with the standard suspension/springs on the car?

Can someone be kind enough to measure the distance from the road to the middle of wheel arches? Make sure the car is on a flat road.

The reason why I'm asking is because I feel my car is very slightly lower than the boggo cavs I see on the road, and as far I know it hasn't been lowered.

im sure yours is too
Mine is what, lowered or non-lowered?

I think it's not lowered but the springs have weakened. And I'd like to compare it to others because I don't want to buy 30mm lowering springs and find out they make no change compared to the current ones.

What size wheels/tyres? They'll affect the distance between road and arch...

Right, measured mine:

It's 62.5 cm on all 4 wheel arches (road to middle of the arch)

Measured mine as above road to centre of wheel arch

630mm front, 620mm rear

Note new tyres all round, about 30Kg weight in the boot and a full tank of fuel on board.

Mine was 62.5 cm all around with NO weight in the boot and virtually NO petrol in the tank.

I'd say that was standard factory spec then
I'd like to get few more because every time I see a standard Cavalier on the road they just look a lot higher than mine. Not sure.

Anyway, my tyres are 195/50/15

My tyres are 195/60/14 ...

So yours, on the 15's, should look higher not lower.

he has a lower profile tyre though. if it had 15 inch rims from standard, im sure the standard tyre size is 195/60/15. im sure that is what is on the likes of the sri's from standard. anyone correct or confirm this?
