Hi, I am looking to buy opcom for my 2009 insignia 2.0 cdti 160hp, but all sellers I have messaged on ebay tell me theirs will not do a regen. Can anyone tell me what version of opcom I should be looking to buy and recommend a supplier? Also is there a scan tool under £200 that will definitely do regens on the same vehicle? I know opcom is the better option, but my old laptop needs to be plugged in and has no cd, so a scan tool might be a better option for me, I just can't find a reasonable priced tool that is guaranteed to do a regen, spending a £1000 on something like a Autel or Launch pro scan tool is not practical for using on one vehicle!

Hi there I have a 2011 insignia.... I already have the opcom interface... but don't know what software the insignia needs... can you help??

It needs as late as you can get,
but the most important thing is if your opcom capable of safely being upgraded to run later software,
if it has a fake chipset then the firmware update after running later software will kill it dead.
