Hi guys.
I have an Omega 2001 facelift model. Its hard to open the bonnet, I need someone to push it down while I pull the lever to get it to open.
I had a look to see if I could adjust it but I can`t see how.
Anyone out there has done this before?
Thank you

Check the cable is propely clipped to the bulkhead, if it isnt itll go slack and not open the bonnet

I found advice here about that problem. You have to remove the cover from above the nearside headlamp. Then loosen the clamp that holds the cable and slide the sheath under the clamp a bit so it tightens up on the bonnet catch. Tighten the clamp. It was explained better...

Check that the rubber stops have not been screwed out to far, this will mean that you have to lean, or slam the bonnet to engage the catch.

This puts constant pressure on the latch and the release lever wont overcome it
